These pictures probably related to a report in the Gazette of 5 April 1957 of 'Uxbridge Infant and Primary Schools' taking part in a music festival at Abbotsfield School. The following section of the report is pertinent here: "The folk dancing by Breakspear Primary School was well executed and whether as Irish, Welsh or Serbian folk dancers they added a bright splash of colour and originality to the programme with variations in costume." |
