As part of the redevelopment of the playground the school had installed an all weather path, four 'picnic' tables and planted trees to provide shade in 1997. 

A gazebo provided a 'feature' 
along the path

And Mrs Elliott made panels on a watery theme 
to screen off the large waste bins.

In 1999 plans were drawn up to develop the Hoylake Crescent entrance to the school site to commemorate the millennium year 2000.
