Year 6's Trips to the British Museum

With all the heavy traffic on the A40 ...

the best route to the British Museum
is by Tube.

Here we are, ready to enter the museum

taking a brief pause for a photograph.

In the education centre we get ready
to explore the galleries.

Clipboards at the ready.

One of the most famous of Egyptian objects in the museum..

is the Rosetta Stone.

Here we are in the galleries,
all hard at work...

...well,
almost all!

Something has caught our attention.

Perhaps what's left of this statue.

What's the best bit
of any trip out of school ...

...yes, you've guessed it
- lunch!

Then some more work
- we're certainly being kept busy.

Finally, a trip to the Great Court
before leaving for home.
