9-11 July 2003  ~ Year 4's Walk to Denham - 1

 

 

    

Off we set, ready to face every challenge.

The first came as we turned off 
to follow the footpath by the River Pinn - nettles and brambles.

Safely across Breakspear Road South, ready to face the fierce dogs, 
aggressive geese and broken stile.

Eventually we reached the Centre 
at the Country Park.

First we went to study the 
River Missbourne.

Cora helped us take measurements 
as it flowed through the park.

Then we were able to go into the River 
to search for living creatures. 		We then had to identify what we 
had found using a key.

Our Wellington Boots got 
rather full of water! 		Just before lunch 
we played a game.
