The orchestra opened the concert

The Theme from Star Wars as a duet for violin and viola 
was the first of a series of solo items that included tenor horn,

flutes

violins

brass

The choir entertained with a selection from The Sound of Music.

Then some more solos, 
from oboes
and viola

Mrs Hope's Year 3 recorder players performed with a beautiful tone...

and the orchestra played some pieces written especially for them.
