The Poster Competition Winners

On the next few pages you will find the winners of our Healthy Eating Day Poster Competition. We had a lot of entries and many of these were very good, but the following twelve were selected as the winners. How did we decide who were the winners?

First, we tried to make sure we took an equal number from each year group. However, they had to be good enough to win! Fortunately there were enough to have three winners in each year group.
Next, we tried to see if we could have a winner from each class in each year group. That was not always possible. Why not...?
Well, first some classes didn't have any children who entered for the competition.
Then, did the poster catch the eye? It needed to if it was going to encourage us to read the poster and even more if it was going to persuade us to eat healthily.
After that, did it look as if the person had spent time trying to think carefully both about the poster and how to present it?
Finally, did the person spend time on the sheet: was it carefully done, how much effort had gone into it?

So, we really think these posters are winners!
