Year 3, Santa's on Strike

Santa's elves are busy
preparing for Christmas...
but Santa isn't happy!
Children are not well behaved, don't help,
don't care about anything except themselves.
They don't deserve any presents.  Santa's on strike!

However, Santa's elves know this is not true, so they show him some families
where the children are helpful, and do think of others.

In this family the children show that by giving a hand
life becomes easier for everyone -
especially Mum who they tell to sit down and take a rest
while they do the work!

But Santa's still not impressed.
What about all those pets children want, but then don't look after!
Again there is another family
that the elves know, where the children make sure the animals are treated well.

Santa's still not convinced,
children seem to have forgotten the true meaning of Christmas.

The elves show Santa a family welcoming the carol singers...

and thinking about the Christmas story.

Then Santa says that children don't care about others,
especially the old and lonely.

But the elves show him a family where the children care
about an elderly neighbour and invite him to spend Christmas with them.

Does this help Santa change his mind?

YES! So it's quick march to get the sleigh loaded ready
for Santa's Christmas Eve journey to the millions of children throughout the world.
