22 June 2006  ~ Year 4's Water Aid Bring & Buy

           

Working together, using their own ideas, 
Year 4 set out to raise money for the 
charity 'Water Aid' that seeks to ensure 
the provision of clean water 
in many of the 
poorer areas of the world.

First they advertised 
a Bring and Buy sale 
throughout the school.
They had lots of ideas.  For many days unwanted books, games, toys 
and much else arrived in school.

On Thursday 22 June they got busy arranging all the items for sale 
and also making posters for different attractions.  

Come the afternoon the school field was alive with keen enthusiastic children 
excited by the many attractions Year 4 had provided.

Lets take a look - a toy sale, drinks area
have your hair sprayed (girls), a table top game,

beat the goal keeper, guess the name, 
Dream Teams, have your hair sprayed (boys),

and fishing for ducks.

 

Something for everyone!  
No wonder they all enjoyed theirselves.

Well done Year 4, 
you raised a superb £653 a record.
