Rock Climbing at 
Watford Gap Service Station..

got us ready for the walk 
up to the Heights of Abraham.

Half way up, and we're in the clouds already.

After a visit to the Nestus Mine -

LUNCH!

Another stiff climb!

Then underground again...

until we reached 
the Great Masson Cavern

Much to see, 

Into the open, the 1st group found themselves still in the cloud!

While the 2nd group enjoyed the sun and could look for minerals

On the way down the hill...

there was time to play.

In the museum there were tunnels 
to climb through

 and water to pump!

Then at the Temple Mine...

we needed to wear hard hats.

Panning for gold...

was great fun...

with the chance of a great discovery ...

even in the rain!
