March 2007 ~ Year 4 Global Warning - 1

Though a quarter of trips Are less than a mile The pollution will make us All choke in a while One in eight journeys Are on a school run, Surely walking and cycling Are much more fun? Cars poison the air And cause acid rain, If we do something about it, Wildlife will gain.
When all goes well in world world it is a wonderful place to be.

But there are parts of our planet that we are destroying.

Even at the Poles life is beginning to suffer.


And fumes pollute our streets

Higher temperatures are melting the polar ice and floods become more frequent

Storms are more frequent
