13 February 2007  ~ Year 4's visit to London Zoo

               

Year 4 had been worried that the heavy snow the previous week 
might lead to the cancellation of their trip to the zoo.  
Fortunately both snow and absent on Tuesday 13 February.... 

Ready and waiting at Ickenham station

After the train and a brisk walk through the park, 
first stop appears to be the vultures!

Then a visit to the big cats ...

and a pause for a photograph.

Even the birds appeared to be dressed in Breakspear uniform!

LUNCH TIME
(We thought it would never come!)
In the afternoon we were again very busy - making lots of notes about what we saw

before the final trip home.
We were tired - but it had been a great day.
