Year 6 visit Bhaktivedanta Manor

On the first day after the half term holiday,
26 February 2007, Year 6 took the coach to
Letchmoor Heath near Watford and Bhaktivedanta Manor,
the English home of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness
It was a beautify sunny day. We had a trip in the ox cart ...
across the fields ... to the Cow Shed.
We looked around the gardens which were very peaceful.
We saw a special ox cart for processions ... before going in doors.
We heard about some of the clothes that people wear in India.
Some of us then tried them on..

Then some of us dressed up as traditional Hindu gods...

Some of us enjoyed putting on more warlike costumes...
Finally we all posed in our different roles...
It had been an interesting visit and certainly helped us
understand our Hindu friends better.
