On Monday 4 February, 20 of our pupils from Years 5 and 6 represented Breakspear Junior School in the annual Ruislip and Northwood race. 
All the runners participated well and enjoyed the course. 
We were pleased to hear that our girls’ team came in a very respectable 6^th position.
In the boys’ race, James Kilby won the race and walked off with the gold medal! 
This was a phenomenal run which clearly demonstrated his courage and determination.
The boys’ team (James Kilby 1st, Sam Lloyd 5^th , Louis South 11^th , Samuel Bent 17^th , Dylan Elliott 18^th  and Harry Morris 36^th ) came second to claim the silver medals.  
It was a wonderful  spectacle!  The spectators were immensely proud 
of all the members of our running squad.
