16 June 2008  ~ Eco Group's visit to
Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust's London Centre

During the school year the Eco Group had done a significant amount of work
to move forward the school's ECO agenda.
To reward them for all their work a visit was arranged
to the London Wetlands Centre.
They were taken there by Mr. Saunders, Mrs. Clegg and Mrs. Brown.

Fortunately it was a nice warm day.  There was much to be seen.

Wildlife was to be seen in all sorts of shapes and sizes....

A talk was arranged on aspects of water...

There was so much to see, some note taking would come in useful for back at school.

Throughout the day it was good to see how children across the four years who otherwise had little contact with each other got on so well.
Lunch, as always, was a highlight.

Mr. Saunders and one of the group seemed to have found something interesting.

It had been a great day, with many memories to take back
- a wonderful way for the Eco Group to end the year.
