Tuesday 9th November and Year 4 set off for the St. Albans, 
and the ancient Roman city of Verulamium.

Much of the city had been destroyed long ago, with many of the stones and bricks reused to build, among other things, the medieval cathedral.

First stop - work in the museum.

Then it was into the education room.  
First some dressing up in typical Roman clothes.
