One day lots of visitors arrived in Bethlehem ... 
there were so many horses and donkeys to look after!

As night fell the stars shone and the animals in the stable 
knew something magical was about to happen.

A young man and woman arrive at the inn - the woman was about to have a baby 
but there is no room so the Innkeeper offers the stable as shelter from the night, 
and there the baby is born.

Angels sing of the birth, shepherd arrive; 
and later, the wise men following the star offer gifts to the baby.

Later James will grow up to be the fisherman that Jesus calls to be his friend
but for the moment all sing joyfully of the baby's birth.
