On Wednesday 6 July
4D walked to Denham and the Colne Valley Country Park. |
|

|
|
Then it was time to get ready for
their first activity - measuring the speed of water flow in the River Misbourne. |

How
the river shapes its route: how deep is it? where is it deepest? how wide is it? |
|
 |
 |
|
Of course somewhere in the day there
was lunch (yeh!) and some sketching. Then on the way back 4D studied the Grand Union Canal and Denham Deep Lock. |

| Crossing the bridge they left the canal behind them and headed for home. | |
