Jubilee Tree - 22 May 2012

On the occasion of the Queen's Golden Jubilee both the Breakspear Schools
were presented with a special tree by the Council
- one is in the quadrangle,
the other just behind the barrier on the Junior playground.

To mark the Diamond Jubilee the schools were invited to send two children each
to plant a commemorative tree on the old RAF Uxbridge site.

Carefully putting the last bit of soil around the Infant School Tree, a hornbeam.

Time to pose for a photograph.

Two representatives of the ECO Group represented the Junior School;
Mr Rutter couldn't be there because he was with Year 5 in Derbyshire.
