6 December 2012 ~ The Uxbridge Carol Concert

Tuesday 4 December and the lower school choir,
with children from Years 3 and 4,
head for the Pavilions Shopping Centre in Uxbridge.

It is 5.40 p.m. and children arrive.
Mrs Williams checks everybody off on her list.

It is nearly time to go to Market Square, we begin to form a line.
 We head off.
There are about 500 children from many different Schools,
it's difficult to find a space!
We see the Mayor.
The Salvation Army Band begins to play and we sing Once in royal David's city.
All the children sang the two special
Christmas songs they had learnt
then there is a special Christmas presentation.
It really does feel like Christmas!
