On the 29 November Year 4 set off for St Albans 
and the Roman city of Verulamium.
First stop for 4A, the museum and a brief introduction 
before exploring the galleries.

Then off out into the cold, despite the brilliant sunshine.
We viewed the remains of the Roman Theatre

After lunch it was back into the warm and a 'handling session' 
where we looked at a range of Roman artifacts.

Finally, a talk on Roman costume with some of us dressing up.
