Day one setting off well before 8 a.m. we settled into our seats and set off.  
First stop, a break at Leicester Forest Service Station.

Then it was on, up to Matlock Bath 
and the Heights of Abraham, a stiff uphill walk. 

First visit, the Nestus Mine.

And then we had lunch - we needed it!

More up hill walking, it was tiring - but we quickly got over it!

Time for the Great Masson Cavern
