Over three days each Year 3 class visited Clay Lane, near Watford.
They were looking for minibeasts, on land and in water.

First an introduction to the site.

Then it was off searching the ground beneath the trees 
to see what life forms lived there.

We needed to look very carefully.

Trees are a great source of life - they are very precious!

Later we needed to check what we had found.
