On the 24 October Year 4 set off for St Albans 
and the Roman city of Verulamium.
First Stop for 4H - the remains of the Roman Theatre.

Then off to the hypocaust. 

Then into the museum ...

... and a 'handling session' 
where we looked at a range of Roman artifacts.

Finally, a talk on Roman costume with some of us dressing up.
Who would like to go outside in an English winter dressed like this?!
