7 March 2013 ~ Year 6 takes part in Hillingdon's Junior Citizen Event

On the 7 March Year 6 spent the morning at Hillingdon Fire Station
where they were taking part of a Junior Citizen Event.
This was a range of activities to encourage the children
in making sensible and safe choices.

First stop, traveling on the buses....

... and the underground.

Then drugs and solvents - including tobacco!

A former Breakspear pupil explains about the dangers of knives.

And there is advice on traveling in the local area.

There are dangers in the home, including fire.

And of course Breakspear pupils are always so helpful
- they'd go with anybody who asks - without a thought for personal safety!
