For the record, here are a few pictures from before the works started

Works, under the watchful eye of Mr Saunders,
began three weeks before the end of the summer term 2014 
with the removal of the cloakroom area - which had been 'lost space' 
- and digging the footings for the new external walls.

Once the children and staff were off site, work could begin in earnest -
after all there were just eight weeks to get the nursery ready for the new intake!

The outline of the new section of the building quickly took shape.

While inside all the partition walls were stripped out 
and the false ceiling removed.
Preparatory work was carried out for the location of the new main door.
