The sheep are in the fields - but the children sing of 
the little shepherd who keeps falling asleep.

It is the night, everybody sleeps. 

The narrator tells that a little child, Jesus,
is born in a stable nearby.

The sleepy shepherd wakes.
The stars sparkle in the sky.

Suddenly there are thousands of angels in the sky.
