On Thursday 22 May 3O set off on a rather dizzily day 
for Clay Lane water treatment works in Bushey.
Once on the high security site 
we sat in the education centre for an introductory talk.

One group would be exploring life in water.  
The other group would collect some natural materials.

The group looking at living things in water set off.  

We learnt about the different things that live in water, 
and then identified some real examples.

Then there was some 'pond dipping' 
to see what we could find for ourselves.
