4 December 2014 ~ Year 6 Egyptian Workshop

Thursday 4 December, and we
gather in the Studio for an Egyptian Workshop.

The workshop will help us consolidate our work over the term.
We remember that the River Nile was the life blood of Ancient Egypt.

The Ancient Egyptians mummified the bodies of important people
and also sacred animals, such as the crocodile!

We  act out the key roles of Ancient Egyptian society.

The ruler, the Pharaoh, was worshiped as a god.
We remember some of the other gods we had learnt about.

The Pharaoh was extremely powerful and had the huge pyramids
built for his eventual burial.
