which probably date from the first half of 1947.
So far no reference to

Kalyani Menon (1941-47) wrote (2012) to inform us
that
this photograph was of ' The Spirit of the Tower of London'
and that she
was the girl on the left, playing the part of Anne Boleyn.

|
The Gazette's reference numbers show these
to have been taken
on the same occasion, however, they appear to show
two different 'shows': one
modern, one historical.

There are a further three photographs taken by the Uxbridge Gazette
which,
from their reference numbers, probably date from the second half of
1947.
So far no reference to the event has been traced in the Newspaper. |

A second copy of this picture identifies the play as
The
Crimson Coconut, and these young actors as:
Ted Shorthouse, Michael Kerzin, Penelope Cramkshaw, Martin Ser**ry
and
Michael Manning.
