It's early summer and the wood arrived.

Mrs Elliott supported the wood while 
Mr Hallam cut out the shields. 

After preparing the boards work on the painting was soon under way.

By the summer holiday the shields and background were painted.  
Coats of seal were then applied. 

Mr Elliott then arrived 
to work out how to fix it all into place.

Yet more wood was bought.  
Then Mr Elliott, Mr Clegg and 
Mr Newport set to work.

Finally Mr Elliott and Mr Clegg got ready to put the shields into place.

Finally, except for some small touching up, 
it was finished ready for the first full week of the autumn term.
