2004 ~ March: Y6, Bhaktivedanta Manor - 1

On Tuesday 9 March Year 6 visited Bhaktivedanta Manor, the centre for the International Society for Krishna Consciousness.

Mrs. Gray's class and part of Miss Rayner's class went in the morning.

First we took the ox cart to visit ...	the cows

Then, back in the Manor House, we tried meditating.

This was a really peaceful experience.	Next we heard about some of the Hindu gods.

To us, some of them seemed very strange.	But each has a special meaning.

We also heard some of the exciting stories about them.	Then we visited the shrine.
