2005 ~ February: Year 4
Around the World in Eight Hours

Above distant lands and gentle shores,
Long life, love and happiness can be yours
Take a trip over roads, mountains and streams,
To open the door to all your hopes and dreams.

The Path of the Wise is neither easy nor quick,
A flick of your wand won't do the trick,
The ocean of sand holds your heart's desire,
Look for the veiled dancer, her lamp will give your no lair.

Look for Rhine maidens guarding a treasure,
Fly high, searching for the ultimate pleasure,
To the land of Valhalla, monsters and heroes,
Look below the decks and in the shadows.

Follow the ladies dancing with their spouses,
Spinning to the lilting waltzes which are Strausses.

Find the musicians of the Vienna dance hall,
And open the sacred violin case to silence them all.

Have the strength and speed of an Olympic athlete,
Finding your goal will be a tremendous feat,

Just focus on the prize, don't give up the fight,
The resting place of the torch will be your guiding light.

Where the snow capped Mountain of Yokohama lies,

And the beauty of the culture will thrill your eyes,

You will find the fastest Bullet on earth,

Open door 13, to speed you on your way to Perth.

There isn't time for partying in the sun,
The lost city of gold is your destination,

Meet the people in the forest of rain,
And never be hungry or thirsty again.

The golden eagle will carry you to the land
of stars and stripes,
Where the smell of cattle will give you no gripes,
Get down with the cowboys and wiggle your tush,
Shake hands with the Texan, President Bush.

Leave your Stetsons and lassoes behind,
The land of flamenco is where you will find,
A man with a cloak who defies the might of any bull,
Who will present you with a clue in embroidered wool.

Where snake charmers play haunting tunes,
And tigers sleep under many silvery moons,

Follow your noses to the land of intense spice,
And knock on the Taj Mahal door not once, but thrice.

Follow the bends and turns of the Seine,
Where the city of romance will release your pain,
To throw off your cloaks would be a good plan,
To don the frilly skirts of the girls who can-can.

The heaven you seek is never far from your heart,
The perfect ending is where you start,

Look inside your mind, as it truly knows,
Where your cup overflows.
