Autumn 2005 - Spring 2006 Installation of the new playground equipment - 3

The Grand Opening! At 2.15 p.m. on Monday 30 January a child from each class in both schools gathered on the Infant School playground.

Mrs Gray and Ms Cummings were there	... so were Mr and Mrs Potato Head.

To open the area we had our local councillor, Cllr Hensley. Mr Rutter and Mrs Sumner and one of our parents, Mrs Barrett, who has given a great deal of help with with project, watched as the rope was cut. (And is that Bruno from 6D we can see?)


Then, after Mrs. Sumner gave a short speech thanking everyone, it was time to enjoy the new equipment


We want to say thank you to all who have helped see the project through, including GlaxoSmithKline and Hasbro who have made donations.
