Leaving soon after the start of school, we set off for Denham. |
|
|
|
|
We took the footpaths, sometimes needing to raise our
arms to avoid being stung by the nettles. |
|
|
|
| We marched through high grass, and across fields | |
|
|
|
| Across golf courses, between reservoirs and over stiles.. | |
|
 |
|
crossed the canal and eventually arrived at the Study Centre. |
|
|
|
|
| There some of us explored river life... | |
|
|
|
|
|
while others studied how a river flows |
|
|
|
|
|
| Then it was time for lunch | |
|
|
| In the afternoon we explored life in the woods around the centre ... | |
|
|
| before finally setting off back to school. | |
