We didn't all want to get to the
station |
Fortunately we didn't have to wait |
|
|
At first we had the train to ourselves. |
But later we had to change trains, we don't appear to have minded too much! |
|
|
Yes there really are monkeys in there - somewhere! | Our first look at the vultures. |
The spider monkeys were much easier to see... |
as were these bearded pigs. |
This bird appears to be making a nest. |
And we found this pygmy hippopotamus enjoying the water! |
Then there were ponies and llamas to be seen |
What are they looking at..? |
and these groups too..? | a bactrian camel from Asia! |
Back to the vultures; ugh, this looks grizzly! |
Ah, the rock hopper penguins seem a bit more friendly. |
Time for lunch, we were hungry! | Then on to see more birds. |
These beautify hyacinth macaws made a terrible noise! |
Mr Rutter would insist on going into the bug house to see the locust. |
Though trying to catch the fish on film without a filter was a bit of a failure! | The tigers seemed to be resting. |
What do camels have for lunch...? | Sandwiches! Just like us! |
Then there was a short talk in the lecture theatre. |
Finally we all gathered by the entrance... |
... ready for the journey home. We were rather sad to be leaving, it had been a great day! |
