At the Youth Hostel making the beds

took a little time.

But the food was welcome

and there was plenty of it!

We saw Blue John...

and the witch!

Further on, there were stalagmites 
and stalactites 

Once out we were high on the hillside

and posed for a group photo.

Time for lunch...

with spectacular views.

Then off across country...

on what Mr. Rutter called 
'an interesting route'.

Then, finally we set off from Castleton for the return journey to Ickenham 
- it has been a great two days.
