Terry Mills, the educational zoologist, has been visiting us at Breakspear for over fifteen years. Each time he comes he brings four 'friends' and talks about them. These are extraordinary occasions for Mr. Mills has a way of talking that make the whole experience fascinating. He uses all the scientific language in a way that enables all to understand - and many children display a range of knowledge and keen interest. Perhaps one of them will be a future zoologist and open this fascinating world to children of the future. |

The first 'friend'
was a scorpion, an Imperial Scorpion. |

The toad was
friend number two. |

And who is this
little friend held firmly so she doesn't fly away? Why a quail; certainly not destined for lunch - nor is one of her eggs! |

Finally a
rabbit. |

Unfortunately this was to be Mr.
Mills last visit, since he is retiring. So we were all very lucky that he was able to come to us for one last time. Thank you Mr. Mills for all the wonderful visits you have paid to Breakspear Junior School. |
