Valleys Water's Environment and Education Centre at Clay Lane, Hertfordshire. They had a fascinating day
searching for minibeasts At lunch time Every class that visits the Environment and Education Centre is set the challenge to minimise the amount of waste that they generate from their packed lunch. After enjoying their sandwiches and other treats, the children then sift through the remains and sort it into piles for reuse, recycling and composting. The remaining rubbish is then put on the wastewatchers scales to calculate the weight of the class rubbish. 3D gained a Bronze Award. |
