Over the spring term 2008 Years 5 & 6 had been working on a Borough wide maths challenge - solving individually and in groups a series of problems requiring mathematical understand and a range of related skills.

Once the school-based work was completed, two from each school were chosen to go on to represent their school in the finals held in the Civic Centre on 26th March.  
Mark and  Bolun were selected to represent Breakspear and, after a further 
series of problems emerged as the overall winners for 2008.  
Congratulations to them both on their achievement.
