Year 4 had been
planning it for weeks - the posters had gone up, the announcements went
into the Newsletters, the tables placed on the field - even the weather
was just right for the 2008 Bring and Buy sale to support Water
Aid. |

|
All the games had been planned by the children, they had also collected the materials, sorted the prizes, and designed their posters advertising their stalls. |
|
Mr.
Rutter was a little curious what the children intended to do with these
blocks, one labeled Miss Burns, the other Mr. Rutter. |
|
So he hung around to find out!
Face painting and hair spraying was
as popular as ever, though the Headteacher was disappointed to find he couldn't get his nails painted this year. |
|
But there was plenty of other things to try.
Everybody was clearly having a great time
With the cakes and drinks selling well
And, with a careful eye, there were some real bargains to be found
Well done Year 4, that was a great
event - and you raised more than £750, the highest total we've ever had, that will go to save many people's lives through providing clean water. |
