Blessed with a bright, sunny day, just under 90 children and 18 adults set off for the home of the Royal Zoological Society, London 
- better known as London Zoo - by public transport.

First, a short wait at Ickenham Station before boarding the Metropolitan Line for Baker Street and Regents Park.

Once the walk through the park was over everybody was safely inside the Zoo.

Why the rush?  Well, there's so much to see! 

However, that doesn't mean we can't pose for a quick photo.

But all too soon it was time to set off back home.  
That was a great day... and tomorrow's the first day of the half term holiday!
