Then back down the hill and off the to Peak District Mining Museum.  
The best bit of this was pretending to be miners and trying out their passageways 
- in at one end, out at the other

There was also a visit to the Temple Mine - the ceilings were 'seriously' low - fortunately we had hard hats.

Finally, before setting off for Eyam and the Youth Hostel, 
we had a go at panning for gold.

At the Youth Hostel we had our evening meal...

and later in the evening, some games.

The following morning, after breakfast, a final wash, 
and off in the coach for Castleton
