Then it was time for a talk about the Hindu religion - it was a very practical 'talk'!
First there was the presentation of garlands..

Blowing the shells to make musical fanfares 
was certainly a task for the brass players among us!

Some of us had dressed up as some of the Hindu gods.

Finally, before we left, we all went downstairs to visit the shrine room.

It had been a fascinating experience, one that will help us 
understand and respect other people and their way of life much better.
