After the journey up to London and the morning spent at Tate Modern 
we walked to the Britain at War Experience by London Bridge.

First there was a video about like during the Second World War.  
This was shown in a space shaped like the Underground stations 
where people used to spend the nights when there were air raid attacks.

We tried out the Morrison shelters for size.

There were also uniforms of World War II that we could try on.

Then, wrapping up well we headed out into the cold 
and the journey back to Ickenham.
