You can't hear it, but Mrs Davonport played us 
Elgar's Pomp and Circumstance March while we all marched past.
It seemed very fitting.

While the judges were making up their minds Mrs Davonport and Miss Oliver
awarded the prizes for the 'design a souvenir' competition.
There were some amazing ideas, and some people not only designed 
but also made their souvenirs.

Next it was time for the royal quiz.
Each class had chosen someone to represent them.
There were three teams of four, 
each team had one person from each of the year groups.
Only one team could win.

And now it was time to hear who had won the hat competition.
There were twelve winners - one from each class.

It had been a great celebration and we'd all had a great deal of fun.
As the hat says says it all.
