Day one setting off well before 8 a.m. we settled into our seats.

Then it was on, up to Matlock Bath and the Heights of Abraham. 
We visited the Nestus Mine and then had lunch - we needed it!

We'd already walked steeply up hill - but there was more to come!

We were exhausted!
However, it's surprising how quickly you can recover ...

Then it was into the Great Masson Cavern.
