Year 5 were given the opportunity to visit Coteford Junior School 
where, with several other schools, 
they would see a special production of L'elisir d'amore by Gaetano Donizetti.

During the summer term Year 5 learnt all about the opera and its story (they would need to, it was to be sung in Italian) and made some fantastic magical elixir bottles.

We were not allowed to take pictures at the performance, 
but we have been sent these which were specially taken.
