Over three days each Year 3 class visited Clay Lane, near Watford.
They were looking for minibeasts, on land and in water.
The weather wasn't very kind, raining most of the Wednesday and Thursday, 
but that did not deter them from having a great day!

Here they were, at the start of the day.

Soon it was down to work, scooping earth to see what lived in it.

Then, using a 'key', some identification.

A little later, using nets it was time to see what was living in the water.
