The orchestra opened the concert...

... carefully following Mr Hingley's conducting. 

There were solos and small-group pieces:
Piano and French Horns... 

trumpet and 'cello..

violin and another trumpet soloist ... 

before the Year 6 violins and violas performed. 

Then it was the choir's turn. 

Now some more soloists ...
piano and euphonium ...

'cello and flute... 

before the brass ensemble performed.

A solo from three of the choir members ... 

and a final song from choir brought the concert to a magnificent close.
