On 12 February 2013 6J set off for the Globe Theatre and the Museum of London. First stop, West Ruislip Station, the Central Line, and St Paul's.

Once off the Underground, time for a quick snack on the steps of St Paul's
- lunch will be a long time away!

Just before crossing the Thames by the Millennium Bridge, 
time for a quick group photograph.

When we arrived at the Globe Theatre we thought about what London must have looked like when it was build over 400 years ago.

Once inside the Globe Theatre we listened to a description 
of the theatre and how it was used in Shakespeare's day.

 Then we looked at the museum section with Tudor costumes 
and other things today with how plays were performed over 400 years ago. 

 We then set off back across the Millennium Bridge 
and headed towards The Museum of London.

After lunch we went off to explore the galleries, 
with information to find to support our current project - Britain Since 1930. 

 There was a whole section on 'Watch With Mother', 
a children's programme from the 1950's....
... 'Andy Pandy' and 'The Flowerpot Men'
